I’m Dipesh Thapa
Full-Stack Engineer based in Nepal
I build digital products and business systems that solve real problems. My work spans interfaces, APIs, databases, authentication, payments, integrations, automation, performance, and the infrastructure that brings them together.
I enjoy working where product requirements meet engineering decisions — understanding the problem first, then building something useful, reliable, and maintainable.
Get in touchMy history
I studied Computer Engineering at Pokhara University, where I built a foundation in computer science, software engineering, databases, networking, and system design. Alongside my studies, I spent years building projects independently and learning by turning ideas into working software.
From building projects to owning production systems
My professional work started with web development and gradually expanded into full-stack engineering. Today, I work across the product lifecycle — from frontend experiences and APIs to databases, authentication, payments, integrations, automation, performance, and deployment.

2021 — 2025Built and experimented with web applications independently, developing practical experience across frontend architecture, backend systems, databases, authentication, APIs, deployment, performance, and production-oriented development practices.
How I work
I’m based in Nepal and work comfortably with distributed teams, businesses, and independent clients. I prefer clear problems, direct communication, and enough context to understand why something needs to be built before deciding how to build it.
Whether it’s a new product, an existing system that needs improvement, or a technical problem that needs investigation, I like working from the problem toward a practical solution.
How I approach engineering
The principles I try to bring to the products and systems I work on.
Start with the problem
I try to understand the business requirement and the people using the system before jumping into implementation. The goal is to solve the actual problem, not simply build the requested screen.
01
Understand what ships
I use AI and modern development tools to move faster, but I still review the architecture, business logic, database changes, security boundaries, and failure cases behind the code I ship.
02
Build for what comes next
I care about maintainability as much as getting the first version working. Clear boundaries, sensible data models, validation, error handling, and measurable performance make systems easier to change later.
